Aboriginal Education

Our school has an Aboriginal Education teacher - AET & an Aboriginal Education Worker-AEW who work with the Aboriginal students to improve literacy and numeracy. Our AET & AEW provide curriculum leadership in reconciliation programs. Our AEW supports Aboriginal parents on the ASSPA Committee [Aboriginal Student Support & Parent Awareness]. The ASSPA Committee meets a couple of times a term.

Reconcilitation Week & Culture Week

Reconciliation Week is held in Term 2 and Culture Week in Term 3. Both weeks are a key focus on learning about the Aboriginal Culture.
